Chase Cutting Priority Pass Access to Its Airport Lounges in August

Starting August 15, 2026, Priority Pass and LoungeKey members who do not hold an eligible Chase card will lose access to Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations across nine U.S. airports. Currently those members get one free visit per calendar year and can pay $75 per additional visit; both options disappear after the cutoff date. Holders of the Chase Sapphire Reserve (which carries a $795 annual fee) and a handful of other eligible Chase cards keep unlimited complimentary access and will also see a minor improvement: same-day layover check-in windows extend from three hours to five hours before a connecting flight departs. Priority Pass and LoungeKey members still have access to more than 1,900 other lounges worldwide, including up to 49 other options at the same airports where Chase is withdrawing. Travelers who use Priority Pass access — sometimes bundled with other credit cards or travel memberships — to visit Chase lounges should note the change before booking summer or fall travel.
